C. Michelle Powell is the Coordinator of Student Services for Dinwiddie County Public Schools. Ms. Powell works with qualified teams of teachers, guidance counselors, and many other educational professionals and is assisted by Ms. Sharon Beard.
In addition, Ms. Powell administers all student services within our division by coordinating a number of federal and state grants and serving as chair on a number of committees (including Gifted Advisory Board, Health Services Board, and the Safe and Drug Free Schools Board). From developing resources to meeting student needs, evaluating existing plans, implementing student health and safety related curriculum, overseeing the gifted program plus many other areas, Dinwiddie County Public Schools is committed in the overall well-being of the total student to help them succeed in life.
