Dinwiddie County School Board (DCSB) / Dinwiddie County Public Schools (DCPS) Purchasing Policies and Procedures (the “Policies and Procedures”) are adopted pursuant to Section 2.2-4302 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended. These Policies and Procedures and the Virginia Public Procurement Act (the “VPPA”, Sections 2.2-4300 through 2.2-4383 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, and as it may be amended (from time to time), govern all Dinwiddie County Public Schools purchasing transactions. In the case of discrepancies between DCSB Policies and Procedures and the VPPA, the VPPA requirements shall prevail.
Dinwiddie County Public Schools utilizes the Virginia Electronic Procurement website (eVA) to advertise all Invitation to Bid (IFB) and Request for Proposals (RFP).
