Led by Assistant Superintendent Dr. Royal Gurley, the Academic Services department ensures the success for every student in grades PreK through 12. The department facilitates and oversees the development, evaluation, revision, and implementation of all district curriculum and assessments. To fulfill our commitment of success for all, the academic services department utilizes evidence-based instructional practices to ensure the literacy and numeracy proficiency as well as the socio-emotional well being of the students of Dinwiddie County Public Schools. By providing quality and rigorous instructional programming, we create pathways which ensures the Dinwiddie graduate is life ready.
