School Health Services

School health programs in Dinwiddie County Public Schools support the physical and emotional well being of students through school nursing services, health education covering a range of developmentally appropriate topics and other services that promote a healthy learning environment.

Along with our school health advisory board (consisting of representation from parents, students, health professionals, educators and others) we strive to provide our students and parents with useful information for the general well-being of our students.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Director of Student Services Dr. Yardley Farquharson at the School Board Office by emailing or calling 804-469-4190.

Dinwiddie County Public Schools district is committed to providing material on its website that is
accessible to our students, families, staff and general public. If you experience difficulty with the
accessibility of any material on our website, please email to request
our materials in an alternate format.

We are closely monitoring the weather forecast. Because of the uncertainty of road conditions early tomorrow morning, Dinwiddie County Public Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay Wednesday, February 20 for students and ALL EMPLOYEES. This will allow our team additional time to assess conditions and make changes to our schedule if necessary.
