Chromebook Pickup Information

As part of the Dinwiddie Public Schools Fall 2020 Return-to-Learn Plan, all students in grades PK-12 will be provided with a personal learning device  to use at home or at school. We have scheduled a series of upcoming distribution dates for each school. At this time, we will be distributing devices to Kindergarten through grade 12. Preschool students will receive devices at a later date.

No appointments are necessary, but everyone that attends must wear a facial covering or mask and adhere to the social distancing requirements. Please visit the school in which your child is enrolled to pickup the device.

Wednesday, August 26, Dinwiddie High School (gym)

Distributions will be held from 9 am – 1 pm and 3 – 6 pm.  This will be only for 9th graders and any newly enrolled students.  Students in grades 10-12 should still have their Chromebooks from last school year.

Thursday, August 27, Dinwiddie Middle School (cafeteria)

Pickup Times:
9 am – 11 am last names A-G
11 am – 1 pm last names H-N
2 pm – 4 pm last names O-U
4 pm – 6 pm last names V-Z

K-5 Elementary School Pickup Times and Locations

All times for elementary school distributions will be held from 9 am – 1 pm and 3 – 6 pm.

Friday, August 28 – Sunnyside Elementary School (cafeteria)
Monday, August 31 – Dinwiddie Elementary School (cafeteria)
Tuesday, September 1 – Southside Elementary School (cafeteria)
Wednesday, September 2 – Sutherland Elementary School (gym)
Thursday, September 3 – Midway Elementary School (cafeteria)

*Students who cannot come on their scheduled day will receive devices during the week of September 7, 2020. More information coming later.

Parents, you can also expect to receive a call from your child’s school prior to the distribution day to include specific information about this process for the event including entrance directions and parking.
