On the evening of November 6, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, Dinwiddie Middle School’s (DMS) students and families were welcomed to walk the halls of the school to participate in science experiments, games, STEAM activities, and parent/teacher conferences. STEAM stands for “Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math” and is an approach to teaching and learning in which the scientific concepts of science, technology, engineering and math education principles are taught through the arts such as humanities, language arts, dance, drama, music, visual arts, design and new media.

#DMSGens students led the various activities with #DMSGens teachers facilitating the learning and exploring for our families. It was more than parent/teacher conference night; it was a celebration of what DMS does to ensure that everyone is successful!
