Elementary Education and Title I


Paige Hannon

Mrs. Paige Hannon is Dinwiddie County’s Elementary Education and Title I Director. She is responsible for the division’s elementary educational programs as well as the Title I School-wide Reading programs at Sunnyside Elementary, Southside Elementary, Dinwiddie Elementary, and Sutherland Elementary. Mrs. Hannon supervises all K-5 curriculum development and implementation, pre and post assessment creation and development, benchmark testing creation and development, textbook and resource selection, federal Title I grant compliance and funding, Title I Parent Activities (PAC), as well as state and local grants and funds specific to elementary education. She manages the PALS instructional programs and budgets for grades K-3 as well as all After School Elementary Acceleration programs and budgets.

Mrs. Hannon works closely with a team of talented elementary principals, interventionist, ITRTs, teachers, and staff to monitor and support all K-5 instructional practices. She works with her team to coordinate field trips, resources, curriculum pacing and guidance for effective delivery of instruction. Some of the many areas in the elementary arena include: Read for The Record Day, Read Across America Day, ‘Tis the Season, the Division Spelling Bee, Kindergarten Screening and Registration, along with Art and Music Month activities.


Patricia Harrell

Ms. Patricia Harrell serves as the Executive Secretary for Elementary Education and Title I.  She provides assistance to Mrs. Hannon with managing all programs and budgets under the Elementary Education and Title I umbrella. Mrs. Harrell also lends her talents to all schools with managing textbook orders, Out of Zone requirements, Title I compliance reporting, PALS and After School reporting, and Kindergarten registration and tracking.
