CTE Month – February 2022

During CTE Month, the Dinwiddie High School (DHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) conducted several activities promoting FBLA. During FBLA week, Feb 14-18, 2022, :

1. FBLA Trivia: Each day a question was given during FBLA Week where one winner each day received a basket of goodies for having the correct answer.
2. Monday: “DONUT know what we would do without YOU!” – advisors surprised FBLA members with donuts and juice.
3. Tuesday: “Future Leaders Creating VISION” -FBLA President and Vice President shared FBLA Success Stories during the morning announcements. A table was set up in the cafeteria during all lunch blocks during the week to promote FBLA and accept new members.
4. Wednesday: “Point Out The BEST DRESSED!!!” – Designated as a professional dress day for FBLA members, they wore business attire and showed who runs DHS!! There were three prizes for the BEST DRESS members!!
5. Thursday: “Let’s Give It Up For Our ADVISERS!!”- FBLA members showered their advisors with love and appreciation by giving them baskets of goodies.
6. Friday: “Who Has FBLA Spirit!!!” -Members wore their FBLA shirt or club colors and participated in a walk-through PIZZA PARTY in honor of the BEST club at DHS!!
7. CTE Month culminated in the Regional FBLA Competition held at DHS virtually on February 23, 2022.  DHS FBLA had four members compete which all placed 4th in their prospective area.  Congratulations to the following students:
