At Dinwiddie County Public Schools, how we do our work matters just as much as what we accomplish. Excellence

Integrity

We act with honesty, accountability, respect, and professionalism. Integrity means doing what is right, following through on our commitments, accepting responsibility for our decisions and actions, and treating others with dignity.

We work to build trust through clear communication, ethical decision-making, responsible stewardship of resources, and consistent adherence to the policies and expectations of the school division. Educational Equity

We believe every student can thrive when provided with the opportunities, resources, relationships, and support necessary for success. Educational equity means recognizing that students have different strengths, experiences, and needs and responding intentionally so that barriers do not determine outcomes.

We are committed to creating inclusive learning and working environments where every student feels known, valued, challenged, and supported. We examine our practices and decisions to ensure that all students have meaningful access to rigorous learning, enrichment opportunities, caring adults, and pathways that prepare them for life beyond graduation.
