The department works collaboratively with schools to ensure that every student has access to high-quality instruction, rigorous and relevant learning experiences, and the academic supports needed to reach their full potential.

Academic Services supports teachers, school leaders, students, and families by coordinating curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional learning, school improvement, and specialized academic programs. Our work is grounded in high expectations, evidence-based practices, continuous improvement, and a commitment to knowing every student by their strengths, needs, and aspirations.
