Welcome to Dinwiddie Elementary School

Home of the Eagles!

A Message from the Principal:

With the millions of pages that you could have selected, I want to thank you for visiting the Dinwiddie Elementary School homepage. I hope while you explore the pages, you will find the information useful.

Dinwiddie Elementary School is a rural school housing Kindergarten through Fifth grade. The school has a historic reputation. It has stood on the corner of Route 1 and Route 703 in Dinwiddie county for over 75 years. When the school was first completed, the architectural design made the school a landmark for “downtown” Dinwiddie. Eleven people have led this school over the years as principal.

Currently the school is fully accredited with 350 students and 50 staff members. An active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and Student Council Association (SCA) provide a variety of opportunities and outreach projects for the students and staff.

Our school mascot is an Eagle. Student and staff are always soaring high, reaching for success.

Sincerely,

Principal Davis Roberts Jr.
