“What starts here can change the world”
A word from Mr. Roberts:
Audio-books are a great way to spend a few hours in the evening. The public library has been expanding its section on audio books in the past few years. Taking a long trip or just turning off the television in the afternoon offers audio-books the opportunity to fill that quiet space. Listening to a book that you and your child can enjoy can increase vocabulary and allow your child to complete books above their reading level. As the weather gets cooler and outside activities move inside, this is a great time to begin selecting some great stories to listen to before and after dinner. It is also a great way to generate a conversation with your family.
Happy Reading (or in this case, listening) Everyone!
