Aug. 2017: Director of Exceptional Education Selected

Pamela FieldsThe Dinwiddie County School Board has selected Ms. Pamela Fields as the Director of Exceptional Education. Ms. Pamela Fields brings 15 years of education experience to the position.

Ms. Fields earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management with an endorsement in Special Education from Saint Paul’s College. She earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts in Human Services from Liberty University. Ms. Fields received her endorsement in Administration and Supervision from Virginia State University where she is currently completing her doctoral studies.

Most recently, Ms. Fields served as the Coordinator of Special Education for Dinwiddie County Public Schools. Prior to becoming the coordinator, she served in the following capacities: middle school special education teacher, elementary special education teacher, homebound teacher, and educational diagnostician.

Ms. Fields will assume the role as director of exceptional education for Dinwiddie County Public Schools on August 14, 2017.
