Aug. 2017: Dinwiddie High School Assistant Principal Selected

Marseille MaxeyThe Dinwiddie County School Board has selected Mr. Marseille Maxey as the new Assistant Principal of Dinwiddie High School. Mr. Marseille Maxey brings 14 years of experience to the position of assistant principal.

Mr. Maxey earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, Master of Education in Special Education, and an Educational Specialist degree in School Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan.

Mr. Maxey has a broad work history to include experiences at the elementary and high school levels. Prior to coming to Dinwiddie County Public Schools, Mr. Maxey served as a teacher of students with disabilities at a high school in Detroit Public Schools. Most recently, Mr. Maxey taught 5th grade at Southside Elementary School and was recognized by his colleagues as the Teacher of the Year for the 2016-2017 school year.

Mr. Maxey will assume the role as assistant principal at Dinwiddie High School on August 14, 2017.
