HUMAN RESOURCES

The Dinwiddie County Public Schools system serves a diverse student body of approximately 4,600 students throughout our county. Join our professional staff of over 350 teachers and instructional support staff as we pursue the rigorous Virginia Standards of Learning and work to make our student achievement the highest ever!

As part of our faculty and staff, you will have a central office staff of supervisors and administrative personnel to support instructional activities and offer a wide variety of staff development. Area colleges and universities offer many opportunities for advanced study and extended learning.

Innovative educational programs for the gifted and those in need of special services enhance the division's services to students. Regional vocational training affords high school students the opportunity to prepare for a meaningful and rewarding career. A strong extra-curricular program extends opportunities for learning beyond the classroom.

The result is a community with a wonderful quality of life and a school system with a high quality of education. We invite you to apply for employment with the Dinwiddie County Public School System. Please see the links below for further information or contact us by email to jobs@dcpsnet.org or by phone at (804) 469-4190.
